Friday, September 4th - B Day

• Students, smart glasses such as Meta/Ray-Ban glasses and other AI-enabled or electronic glasses are considered wearable electronic devices under our school expectations. Smart glasses may not be worn or used during the school day and need to be stored in your locker or the main office. Beginning immediately, we will follow the same progressive device expectations used for other electronic devices: the first instance results in the device being turned in to the office and returned to the student at the end of the day; the second instance requires a parent/guardian to pick it up; and a third instance requires parent pickup and an administrative success plan. Remember that taking photos or recording others without their permission is also prohibited at school.

• Auditions for the fall show: Elf The Musical JR. will be after school in the auditorium on  Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 9th and 10th). 

• A reminder to 6th-8th grade students, as much as we love seeing you, we are asking you to stay out of the fifth grade house before school. Thank you

• Dad Joke: Why did the student bring a pencil to lunch? To draw a sandwich.

• Auditions for the fall show: Elf The Musical JR. will be after school in the auditorium on  Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 9th and 10th).  

• Great first day of fall sports! Reminder; Practice today is only 6-8th gr. 

Wednesday, September 2nd - B Day

• Picture Day is today and tomorrow. This is a reminder that students should not be wearing hats or hoods in pictures. 

• Fall sports starts today. Please meet in the gym after school. Registration will be open until Sept 16th. 

• Registration for Clubs/Activities will be open on Friday.

• Reminder to staff: If you would like to add stuff to announcements, please remember to add it before announcements are supposed to start.

• What kind of car does a sheep like to drive? A Lamborghini.

Tuesday, September 1st - A Day

• Fall sports starts tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 2nd. Please meet in the gym after school to meet your coaches and get started. We will practice on the first day. Registration is open until Sept 16th. Any questions see Mr. Klein or Ms. McAlpin.

• Activities and Clubs registration will open on Friday. See the advisor of the club or Ms. McAlpin with any questions.

Staff: If you have any lost and found items in your area, please bring them to the lost and found by the gym as soon as possible.

• For anyone that has checked out HMS media center books, Please get them returned. We have 4 more school days to get them in. If you cannot find a book, please look again. Check your backpack, classrooms, locker, and at home. Any questions, please swing by the media center.
