Monday, May 11th - A Day

• Congratulations to the HMS Girls Flag Football Team! This past Saturday, the team competed in a tournament in Northfield and came away undefeated, winning all three of their games. Great job representing Hastings Middle School with teamwork, effort, and Raider pride!

• Ms. Sheehan has a book recommendation, though she recommends all the books by this talented author. The author of this book has written over 200 books. This particular book she recommends is definitely for those that love wilderness adventures.

• This week is the last week to check out books from the media center. If you have overdue books, please get them back in the next couple of weeks. 

• This week will be the final trivia lunch with Grace for the school year! Have someone from your lunch table bring a Chromebook for a chance to win during lunch on Wednesday. 

• We are in the home stretch of our donation drive to see which classes make it into the tug of war.  The top 2 advisory classes in each grade that bring in the most donations earn their spots in this year’s tug of war!  Do you want a chance to pull the teachers into the water???  If so, get those donations in by Wednesday! Remember, no change allowed.
