Concordia Language Villages

The Hastings High School Global Languages Department is excited to offer  a 4-day weekend trip to the Concordia Language Villages (El Lago del Bosque) on April 18-21, 2023. This year's theme is ¡México, Mágico! Students will explore architecture, science, music, theater, dance, art, gastronomy, etc. We have reserved 30 spaces for our students. Concordia Language Villages is an immersion language camp designed to help students thrive as language learners. Attendees will learn A LOT of Spanish in a short amount of time and will make memories to last a lifetime. Click here for a Google Slides overview and this family letter that explains more about the experience.


Registration: 
All forms are electronic. To reserve a space for your student, you will need to click HERE to register and pay a nonrefundable deposit of $75. The remaining balance may be paid in full upon registration or in increments until about a month before the trip. 


Note: When our 30 spaces are filled, no more registrants will be accepted by the camp. Please email the lead teacher, Ashley (Alba) Hoffman (Email Ashley (Alba) Hoffman) to be added to our waitlist. If any additional spots become available, you will be notified. 

 
Cost to attend: 
$435 TOTAL  $340 = the cost of the 4 day weekend (authentic meals, lodging, activities, etc) $135 = transportation costs (the camp sends coach busses for the 4+ hour drive)

Chaperones:
We need chaperones for this trip!  Chaperones enjoy a weekend up north for FREE!  You will enjoy 3 authentic meals a day, be immersed in the Spanish language, help monitor students, and stay in student casas (cabins) overnight.  WiFi access is allowed for chaperones and there will be ample free time to hike or get work done.
